Once the shot broke, it wasn't 40 yards between me and the squirrel for very long.

jump and fall uh i just took off i'm like i got him i got him i got him and what did you say where are you going yeah i'm not sure you knew where you were going i just i was i wanted to make sure that had i hit him that that was it and he wasn't like struggling and suffering and just like that was it

Um, when I got to him, he was just off of that tree, um, still on the slope of the hill, but near the top of it.

And it was a very, very steep hill, but there was a tree branch holding his body.

So he didn't fall.

He didn't roll down the hill.

He was just stuck there.

I went over, I poked him with a stick to make, you know, I get bit by the thing if he's still alive.

So I poked him with a stick just to make sure he was like done, done.

And he was, he was still like moving around.

I'm like, we need to just make this end.

So I climbed up the hill.

Um, I grabbed him by the tail, set him on the ground.

And there is a, it is very hard to shoot a rifle when it is right in front of you, like the animal.

And there's, you know, you can't use the sites, right.

Cause there's a scope on the top.
