And like the scale, having no reference or understanding of the scale of what you're dealing with and even all the political and religious inclinations that come with that as well.
Like there's so many dynamics at play that you just had no clue about at all.
So navigating that was tough.
And then you throw in, you know, I actually finished high school via correspondence.
So I was like studying while going full time for those first years.
And then, you know, I had to sit my exams in like real time, like my VCE exams.
I sat them at like in the middle of the night in Scotland time to like finish, so to make sure I finished high school and everything.
Because at that time, you have no idea if you're going to,
make it or what so it was important that you know finished my education and stuff so so many things and then yeah dealing with what kind of what we spoke about in the beginning the probably one of the hardest parts is that understanding that you you're now a piece of a of a much bigger puzzle and when you aren't don't exactly fit into that puzzle it's quite difficult to
you know, not be accepted, but yeah, find your place, I guess.
Cause I was always a little bit different.
I had, I was, you know, I expressed myself in very different ways and yeah, I struggled to, to kind of fit into the, into the big, into the world that it was at that time.
