Forrest Gump.
Not in plot, but in tone.
It's life-affirming and kind of heartwarming.
And the plot is relatively simple, but it's beautifully executed.
It's also, if I remember it well, it was really funny too.
Ove is a cartoonishly cynical man that is not too far off from characters that we know in real life read.
I think we all know these people that are perpetually cynical.
Sometimes you just wonder, why are you the way you are?
And it's giving these types of personalities the time of day to ask, could you change?
