Okay, so about two weeks before the All-Star game, John is just getting ready for practice and the GM of his team comes up to him.

He's been talking to me all the time throughout this All-Star stuff and I thought it was just going to be another conversation about that.

And he pulls me into the stick room and he's like, yeah, I just traded you to Montreal.

And I was like, are you effing kidding me?

What?

And he's like, yeah, it was a hockey move.

We, you know, we, we needed a little defensive help and we traded you to Montreal for this guy.

And I said, this is an effing joke.

Are you kidding me?

And he said, sorry, you know, the deal's been done.

I was like, okay, whatever.

Super shady to be traded right after I am finally in the all-star game.

It's like, you know, if it smells like a, you know, walks like a duck, talks like a duck, it's fishy.

We called John's former team and the NHL about this.

Neither wanted to talk.
