So the big guns that shoot a lot of rounds and,
we're just finding out now, do a lot of damage.
The average gun you're gonna see in a movie is gonna shoot a 5.56 round, which is smaller than anything coming out of a minigun or a .50 cal.
I was picked to go fifth, and if you go fifth or sixth, you're allowed to have a small breakfast because you're going to be waiting a while, despite the fact that the hits don't take that long.
When you see, I guess, one of those massive sniper rifles in a movie is the best way I can explain it.
Guys go in, you get set up, absolutely nobody's rushed, and then afterwards you go out on the deck where there's a plunge pool, there's a water feature, so you hear water moving, you're overlooking the ocean, the sun's out, that's where you take your notes, and you do that as well, and nobody's rushed.
And you can assume, because of how big the rifle is, that it's longer than the person shooting it.
That's a .50 cal round, and that's what, you know, these machine guns are shooting hundreds of every minute, multiple of them a second.
The minigun is shooting a round slightly smaller than that, but still a pretty massive round, and you're shooting 3,000 of those a minute.
Again, the vibe in the house, the energy in that house, nobody in that house is rushing you.
So 50 of those a second are coming out of that gun.
You're supposed to be selfish in this moment and take all the time you need.
Yeah, it's a pretty, like when you hold a .50 cal round, you feel like you're holding something pretty crazy.
I go upstairs and wait for a while.
You don't feel like you're holding a bullet.
And that was a moment where I was really proud of myself.
There's heft to it.
It's actually almost impossible to explain how loud they are.
I was actually really excited about that because I had had so many nerves coming up to that.
