Two months after his conviction, James Addy is formally sentenced.
Dr. Addy, having been convicted by a jury of your peers of the charge of murder in the first degree, I hereby sentence you to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole, that being the sentence mandated by law.
Normally, criminal defendants keep their mouth shut.
They say yes when they're supposed to, and they move on their way to get their appeal going.
Addie insists that Molly was the love of his life.
He says he misses her terribly and would have done anything to keep her happy.
Addy is now asking for a new trial.
He's complaining to the judge that his defense counsel was ineffective.
