Yeah, it was a pretty gruesome sort of injury.
You sort of knew it was when you looked over and five minutes had gone and he wasn't on a stretcher.
So you're like, geez, they're taking their time to actually put him on the stretcher.
So it was a lot.
Brodie's an interesting guy.
He's such a funny little, quiet little character, but his wife is far opposite and almost
almost the complete opposite.
And as I was running back out for halftime, Polly goes, oh, sorry about him, mate.
So she was in a completely different mode.
And then after the game, I thought the family would be in hospital, but I sing him a song and I eyeball his dad absolutely chanting the song down.
So they stuck around.
Obviously Brodie's health is at the forefront, but I think things are looking better.
Tell me about Trent Rivers, Max.
I know he's played the last four games, but not played a heap of footy this year.
This is a man 18 months ago who was, well, easily in your best 23, but also ascending, getting better and better.
What's happened with him?
Yeah, and five months ago,
well four months ago represented wa in state of origin um no look he's he's just getting thrown around in different positions right now so um the emergence of jack steel and then also what tom sparrow and caleb windsor have been able to do in the midfield has sort of squeezed him back to half back and then you've seen some of our half backs particularly with jake bowie coming back into the team it's sort of squeezing him back to the midfield so he's sort of in between both roles at the moment um he's still very well credentialed within the four walls and
We still highly, highly, highly value what Trent Rivers can bring.
Obviously, a premiership player.
