You know, there's a lag processing lag in your brain.
You just need a little time to kind of panic and then just get over it as quickly as you can.
Rule number two for me is reread the question.
And I actually, I wouldn't say, I don't bother with highlighters.
I say, use your good old index finger, put it under every single word in the question and reread it because the amount of people who answer when, when they mean to answer who is really common.
Rule number three is be ready.
The answer can come very, very quickly.
Rule number four is keep up.
If you can't listen, write the answer.
Keep listening to the next answer.
So like I usually say, if the sport is badminton, you write bad and you move on and you write the minton when you have the time.
And then rule number five is actually just shut up.
Don't distract yourself.
Don't bang the table.
Don't do anything.
And if you really, really need to, shut your eyes when you know the answer is coming.
Because I found for me, maybe it's entirely psychosomatic.
Close your eyes and prove you're hearing.
Well, actually, a really, really good practice thing is to go onto YouTube and find French or Spanish or German or Italian or whatever language you're doing.
