So I'm not saying, oh, just because they won the NBA Cup, this is why they're struggling.
I think it's just a coincidence.
I think this is, not that it's the middle of the season, but this basketball team has hit a bump in the road, and they are dragging right now, and they are getting exposed because they are tired, and they're without one of their key players, especially energy-wise, and they've run into, especially the last couple games, Sixers, Pistons,
Two teams that are tough, lunch pail, pain in the necks.
Like, the Sixers is a brutal matchup.
Maxie and Edgecombe give you a lot of problems, especially with their ability to drive the basketball and their ability to get to the rim, get to the tin.
That's tough, especially with the Knicks' deficiencies on defense.
And right now, defensively, they're a mess.
Now, let me set the record straight.
I still think this is a championship team.
I still think the Knicks are going to the finals.
I still think the Knicks are winning the championship.
But the team I'm looking at right now is not a championship team.
But luckily, it's January.
I mean, the Thunder are losing right now by 30 to the Hornets, who have like eight wins.
But when you see this night in, night out...
You understand that, all right, something is wrong.
Josh Hart is a big part of that.
Energy is a big part of that.
Tired legs is a big part of that.
