They suffer mightily, especially in the energy department.

I've been saying it for years.
Josh Hart is the heart and soul, pun intended, of this basketball team.
He really is.
And he's having a great year, too, especially shooting, which is not one of his strengths, especially from three-point land, which he has done.
But that's not really what they're missing right now.
They're missing his intensity, his defense, his rebounding, his hustle, second-chance points, second-chance rebounds, diving into the crowd.
Josh Hart is sorely missed right now.
And the Knicks are in a major funk and...
They need a spark to pull themselves out of this.
They need something to get the energy back and the feels back.
Because ever since they won the NBA Cup, and I'm not blaming the NBA Cup.
It's part of the sport.
It's something that's been implemented by the league.
If you enter something, you want to win it.
So I'm not saying, oh, just because they won the NBA Cup, this is why they're struggling.
I think it's just a coincidence.
I think this is, not that it's the middle of the season, but this basketball team has hit a bump in the road, and they are dragging right now, and they are getting exposed because they are tired, and they're without one of their key players, especially energy-wise, and they've run into, especially the last couple games, Sixers, Pistons,
