That is being threatened by Iran.
Whether you like Iran or not, I'm not the biggest fan of the Iranian regime.
I'm not going to sit here and apologize for the fact that they killed hundreds of U.S.
service members in Iraq.
I'm not going to minimize what they did in Beirut in 1983 when they went into the Marine barracks and killed 241 of our service members.
Clearly, that is reprehensible.
The question is, it doesn't fall under that imminent threat assessment.
But if you're Israel...
Your number one enemy has been Iran.
Number one.
Number, number one.
Whether it's justified or not is irrelevant, but Iran has been the reason you haven't been able to push, push, push further and further.
And so if Israel had the opportunity to, they would absolutely expand both physically, geographically, but also they want to be the only seat at the table.
They want to be dictating trade routes, supply chains, diplomatic affairs.
They want to be the regional superpower in the Middle East.
And right now, Iran is the regional superpower because of the influence that they've had.
They're fighting over power, right?
And it would be no different if there's the high school bully who's 6'7", just as a random number, who's 6'7".
And all of a sudden, he's a bad guy.
He shoves kids in their lockers.
