We've just lost two seats, one of which is Donald Trump's own seat for Palm Beach County that covers Mar-a-Lago.
These were seats that Trump won by double digits in the 2024 election.
And they moved over to the Democratic side.
And I said, look.
What did both of these candidates have in common?
One was a white female, one was a black male.
They're both running on the idea that we are living in a golden age.
They say that we're in a golden age.
Well, if it's a golden age, it's the kind of fake fool's gold that wouldn't even pass muster in the rinkiest, dinkiest Las Vegas casino.
It's the kind of fool's gold that even the guys selling it to you can't convince you because guess what?

Well, what about my ability to get a job, to buy a home, to afford my groceries, to afford filling up my tank?
This is not a golden age.
And those two candidates ran on the idea that everything is perfect.
We have to keep the good times rolling.
And the Democrat candidates, I'm not going to...
defend them either, but at least they had the ability to say affordability is real.
And Zoran, you say what you want about Zoran Mamdani, but he ran on a platform of affordability.
Now, I think we all agree that affordability is important, but where we're going to disagree with Zoran is how we get to that affordability destination.
