And so that is not America first to let in the world because we need to be generous and we need to be gracious.
So my view is if you're going to create a policy, if you're going to pass a bill, if you're going to push for something β
does it benefit American citizens, yes or no?
AI data centers, how does that benefit American citizens?
It benefits Elon Musk.
It benefits Sam Altman.
It benefits Nvidia.
Does it benefit American citizens?
Well, if your electric bills are going to double and there's going to be a shortage of water in your community because the average AI data center draws 500,000 gallons of water every single day, that clearly doesn't benefit Americans.
But
But if you define America first as the stock market, as GDP, then maybe AI data centers really are America first.
So it's a question of how do you define our terms.
I was a high school debate kid.
And I think a lot about what my coach told me my first week of debate, which was you have to define your terms.
If we're going to debate the same thing, we have to know what we're actually debating.
No.
