It was all a bit, if this works, where's this going?
We were puzzled by a few of them, but looking at the makeup of the bench, you had Murray there who is a lock.
You had Radley there who, in my opinion, is a lock.
And then you had Adam Fenua-Blake as the only genuine front rower who's probably not a bench front rower, although obviously at a representative level things do change.
I would have thought with the way the game is now that Adam Fenua-Blake is the perfect bloke to bring off as an interchange in your front row because of his footwork at the line.
Yeah, and to generate you a quick play of the ball.
But can you imagine Appy, Coruscant off the back of it?
Off the back of it, that's right.
So imagine that first three subs is you go Lenu, Faneu, Blake, Appy.
Now, granted, we're talking here, you can't fit them all in.
Someone's going to have to be sacrificed.
But that's probably been where the problem lies for New South Wales is the abundance of players to pick from.
When you look at the Queensland blokes, you go, all right, that bloke's definitely in the side because we haven't got anyone really else.
Do you understand what I mean?
Whereas...
New South Wales can sit back and go, oh, mate, we can pick three teams.
Yeah, we can.
But picking the right team is the secret.
Yeah, because in all likelihood, you know, Liero doesn't get anywhere near a New South Wales team.
Can't get anywhere near.
