He was attacking like a fullback, defending like a centre.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Crichton named in the centre, Burton back at six, but Crichton give him more of a free role to just go and do whatever he wants.

He's a person.

Giving the ball, even in the middle of the field, taking the four into five, that would be destructive.

And there used to be this notion of, well, that was the winger's role to do and the centres would hold shape.

You're standing out there.

to maybe spread the opposition defence out because if you're bunched, the opposition can bunch as well.

But I think the way the game's going with the speed of the rook through the middle of the field, get those classy, big, fast outside centre three quarters, attacking players in the middle of the field.
