It's important we keep the β
the legend alive and the story at the forefront because we can just fall into, oh, it's origin again.
And it just is a norm.
You know, when we consider just how impactful State of Origin is, it needed the power of hate.
Like you both have love for your respective states, but there's also an element of hate that I think β
really appeals to the sports fan.
When you see two people or two groups of players, and rugby league's a great vehicle for this about showing respect, being teammates on one side of the fence.
