Because I'm very interested in it.
Because you read about rhyming slang and then it sounds like it's, people say, oh, it's thieves language from the 19th century.
But I don't understand how thieves would gain an advantage and, you know, to help them avoid the police or whatever.
I don't understand how saying use your loaf instead of use your head, loaf of bread, head.
It must be in here somewhere.
I don't really get it.
We talked about butcher's slang, which they still use, don't they?
Yeah, and they say words backwards.
