Well, he owned Goofy, basically.
He owned the voice and he owned the mannerisms.
Interesting.
because he invented a character called the apple knocker and the apple knocker was based on someone he knew growing up he called him a grinny half-baked village nitwit oh and this apple knocker but he based his voice and his mannerisms and the way that he walked on this person and then goofy came along and he used his existing character so it meant that like there were lots of things that you couldn't copy from disney but you could copy goofy because it wasn't really owned by disney
Just one more thing on this Three Little Pigs movie.
It came out in 1933, which was the worst year of the Depression.
And basically, Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf became a song that everyone would sing as if to say, you know, we'll get through this.
You know, like Things Can Only Get Better by D Ream.
It was like, it's like the bat song of its day.

There was also, a bit later, a children's book which was based on the three little pigs that encouraged children to invest their pocket money in war bonds.
Yeah, yeah.
So that was the Canadian one, and then the Americans did their own version a little bit later.
It's where you give a load of money to the government and they promise to give you some back with interest, but they use the money for war.
