Then there's a pause, and their job is now done.

They've now got to consolidate that gain.

They've now got the farm, St.

Nicholas Farm.

They've got this line, so they're now well on the way.

And so the idea is that the next phase is,

And it's by now, I mean, this attack starts at 3.30.

It's now about...

5 o'clock, something like that, a little bit after 5 o'clock.

A squadron will now come through and finish it off.

And they're going to do the next stage.

But they've got to get there.

So they're coming down from their position on Hill 0.102 and behind the Bordeaux line.

They're coming down into the village.

And this is the point where John Semkin bumps into the Tiger tank that was described by Stanley Christopherson right at the beginning.

And it's about 5.30 p.m.,

on the afternoon of Monday, the 26th of June, 1944.
