at least in my experience that science fiction generally does better than fantasy, not always, is that they have these really interesting philosophical scenarios, I guess, you know, like many worlds or, you know, again, in the case of Lacanus, I use time travel, you know,
And so that was definitely part of it that I went, kind of wanted to do a bit of a sci-fi concept, but in a fantasy world, especially because as soon as you move into a fantasy world, it can be a bit, it can be a bit looser.
Like I don't have to come and learn all the physics.
Exactly.
Yeah, I mean, I still, it's funny because you're right.
Like I still, off the cuff, I tend to just say, oh, it's epic fantasy.
But it's so general.
And I know that it's not, you know, obviously there's the elements of dark academia in there.
And it is...
It is different to a lot of other epic fantasies.
And if you say epic fantasy, you might think of Tolkien or Wheel of Time.
So I've seen a lot of people say it's very science fantasy.
