My biggest β I think I'm fortunate and the established authors are fortunate at this point because I don't think it threatens us at all.
But I do worry about new authors coming in, both submitting to publishers and self-publishing.
That's how I got my start.
I started self-published.
And that was 2014, and that was a great time to be getting into it because β
you could get noticed.
But now people are effectively getting ChatGPT to spit out 100 pages of rubbish and put it on Kindle Unlimited.
And I can't even imagine how it would be possible to get noticed in amongst all of the muck.
And I'm sure publishers are probably getting submissions.
Then they're having to go through and going, was any of this written by AI?
