And all of a sudden we're seeing a changing of the guard in the NHL.
And it's been a long time coming because if you look at the teams that have been in the conference finals or, or one division titles over the last five or six years, it's been the same teams again and again and again.
And it's been until this year that we've really seen some new teams come into the mix.
And, you know, Anaheim and Buffalo and Philadelphia, I mean, when's the last time those teams were good?
It's been a long, long time.
Buffalo won a round for the first time since 2007.
Phillies hadn't won a round.
I think they'd won one playoff round in 12 years.
Anaheim hasn't been good.
It feels like since they won the Cup, you know, it's been a long time for all of those teams.
And now the league is changing and we're getting some new faces and some new markets that are having success.

I mean, at the time it made no sense when it happened and now it's just...
you know, Tristan Jari was someone who had cleared waivers the year before and you're giving up assets to get him and he's got a big contract and it's been a complete disaster.
And some of the things that happened there with him in terms of the confidence and his interactions with the teammates or whatever, I mean, some of that was predictable if you talk to people in Pittsburgh.
So, you know, I think that that's a microcosm of what's gone on at Edmonton.
And it's interesting to me, you know, it feels like
maybe the NHL is changing a little bit and that these star players just wield so much power.
I mean, we just saw the way that Quinn Hughes was able to kind of orchestrate his exit out of Vancouver and go to a team that he was willing to go to.
Matthew Kachuk did that a few years ago with Calgary and went to Florida.
