Thanks for staying tuned.
Now let's get back to it.
Okay.
That's my nightmare.
Like Jesus.
What do you mean?
You asked a really good question at one point.
I probably won't be able to remember it verbatim, but it was something like, why doesn't
feeling connected feel as good as winning an argument?
And I thought, ooh.
You can be right or you can be happy.
I've said that before.
That idea is really interesting on two levels.
One, from an evolutionary standpoint, why doesn't it feel as good?
If there's a survival advantage to pair bonding, then why doesn't being connected to that person in the moment where you're arguing feel like a way more interesting goal than I'm gonna prove that I'm right?
Yeah.
The tension is I think people don't know what's expected of them anymore.
It's interesting.
So here's my pitch.
You tell me if you think this is crazy.
