And at this moment, or certainly over the last few years under JΓΌrgen Klopp, there has looked like there's been a bit of a gulf between the two clubs.
So,
I am confident Liverpool will win the game I think Manchester United with it being a derby game and the record that they have is really good a lot of those good results of late for Manchester United I think a lot of them have come home Liverpool's record at Old Trafford is really poor but you know I know Ramfield I think Mourinho in his first few years made it really difficult for Liverpool there was a couple of draws there was a couple of nil-nils as well and I think the last one Liverpool really dominated coming out on top 3-1 I think that was the end of Jose's time then
Manchester United I think Oli is certainly not as pragmatic as Jose so it doesn't seem to be in that type of game but I think the game plan for Manchester United will be exactly the same as how they went about it at Man City where they played deeply trying to hit on the counter attack and they were absolutely devastating that day and if they produced a similar sort of performance Liverpool could have
major problems but I think at this moment there is a goal between the two clubs and if Liverpool play anywhere near what they're capable of I'll see them coming out on top not a problem So if Man United do take that similar approach to how they played against Man City what will be the key areas that will end up deciding the game then?
Well I think what it would be is that the real top teams and certainly City and Liverpool when they're on the front foot they like to push hard they like to leave space in behind they're very brave
in everything that they do and not just with the ball but certainly defending as well at times this season Liverpool have been caught out with a high line and opposition teams have actually you know gone through on the goal one-on-one probably haven't made as much from it as probably they should have done opposition team because I mean Liverpool goalkeeper now is possibly the best in the world but I think that'd be something they'll be looking at Ollie as well we can get him behind this this Liverpool team but the whole point of Liverpool pushing high and
maybe making less space on the pitch for Manchester United.
It'll make it more difficult for Manchester United to get the passes off and make those clever passes.
So they have to be really clever in the sense of midfield, really, and to work the ball to the attacking three, who were, as I said, after that Manchester City game, on the day, and if they're consistent and at their best, they're equally as devastating as the Liverpool front three.
Actually, look at the qualities there.
They probably just lack that consistency.
He's been vital.
A lot of the time he's been questioned at the egg and clock.
Would he...
Get a regular game?
Should he be the captain?
All these different things.
But all these top managers keep picking them out.
I've worked with him, so I'm well aware of Jordan's qualities and what he's like around the dressing room.
