Well, Neil Mope scored their goal.
Also had a big chance to make it 2-0 at one point.
He's speaking now with Greg Whelan.
Really good goal he scored tonight.
What did you like about it, Connor?
I told you, we spoke about him quite a lot this evening in terms of his movements and how they worked it.
But if you look at how they actually worked as well, from side to side, they tried to open Palace.
We spoke about it where Palace have come second half to be quite narrow to try and stop them playing.
But with Bissouma again...
getting on the ball, and it's a fantastic switch of play, it really, really is.
It's brilliant just to open it up, because like I said, they were very narrow, and then the cross comes in it, and it takes a slight deflection there off Gross, but like I said, we spoke about when he comes off defenders, we've seen it when he scored against Arsenal, where he actually comes off David Luiz to score his header.
So how are you able to gain so much space as a striker, just making that one or two-yard movement?
I think it's just being intelligent, being clever, and that's what he is, and he's been like that for years now.
You see now, look, and he just stops his run just to know where the ball's going, because as a centre-half, you want to drop back in there in case that ball comes across.
So you're instinctive as a defender is always to go back towards your own goal?
Oh, 100%.
100%.
I think, obviously, not too far, but I think also to stop the ball coming across in front of you.
Yeah, 100%, but the problem with it is you don't want to drop yourself in too deep, but as a defender, your first instinct...
is to drop in and try and stop that ball going in between you because you always say that corridor of uncertainty if that ball comes in between you and the keeper it's always tough so i can i can see where crystal palace defenders are coming from but you still want to be close but he's an intelligent player i think the touch is fantastic in the finish to put in the top corner his left foot was superb unstoppable and then four minutes later uh he's presented with a chance i'm not sure if he was surprised when it fell so close
