But the whole school had that four or five boxers at the time.
And they kept talking about boxing.
My brother wanted to get into the chat, in the boxing chat.
They said, why don't you join the gym?
My brother joined the gym, became a national champion.
And then like a year later, told me that, listen, you ain't doing nothing.
So why don't you join the gym as well?
So I did.
and then like I just remember like the first couple sessions I was sick I threw up this is nine years old yeah I was getting battered so I was just like you know what maybe this boxing thing's not for me and then I started playing football and I got really I didn't like
It being a team sport, I like the fact that if I lose or if I win, I want it to be my fault.
Like in football, you could be the hardest working player on the team and still lose because of your teammates.
So I was just like, let me just try out boxing again.

You're in the driver's seat.
You employ your trainers.
So if you've lost and that's your fault, you should have changed the trainers.
And that's like, you don't, a lot of people say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
But my like counteract to that is don't wait for it to break to fix it.
