I was at like one of my best friends was a lawyer and we were at some function for him and he called my cell phone and he goes, I'm just letting you know, I don't know what you're doing tonight, but you might want to just, if you're out and about, you might want to just go home.

Because there's a new sheriff in town, and he does not like you.

Okay.

I just remember it was like me sitting at the pub watching Jerry Bettman, and I was like, you better cancel the season, you bastard.

And I just started sweating.

I'm like, oh.

God, because your life changes.

And that's why you do it.

That's like you get people's attention.

It's like you're comfortable, you're going to the rink, hey, what's going on?

And then all of a sudden it's like it's got your attention and you're like, I've got a guy that thinks completely different of me than 24 hours ago.

And that's, I guess, it all goes in part with the coach bump because everybody reacts different, right?

Your frame of mind is different.
