You know, they're struggling without Laporte, but I thought they coped so well today.
They were brilliant because it was a test.
You're playing against a side that were... I thought I was disappointed in Crystal Palace.
I must admit, they weren't at it today to the level that I'm sure Roy Hodgson would be saying to his team, why didn't we play a little bit like we did in the last 15 minutes when Benteke came on and Zaha went wide left, but...
Fair play to City today because it was a real challenge after the Wolves' result.
They had to man up and they really did.
Impeccably, they were brilliant.
When Benteke came on, one of the first things that Pep did was he bought on John Stones because of the physicality and the height.
Rodri looked immense back there, I must admit.
He's got the frame that he could be a centre-back long-term, but I think obviously Pep's looking at someone that can become the next Fernandinho, so he's going to stay in midfield obviously for the time being.
But he looked very, very comfortable.
I don't think Crystal Palace got enough crosses into the box.
They've got six crosses all game.
Man City had 21.
They didn't really cause him enough problems, but that isn't to take anything away from how well Man City did.
Yeah, Fernandinho's an incredible footballer.
When they signed him, I'd seen a lot of him at Shakhtar Donetsk when he first signed, and the way that he reads the game, and it's just his understanding, and he's obviously blessed, he's got pace to get back and cover good areas, but the two of them really just look calm on the ball.
I mean, he's a very good footballer anyway, Rodri, so you shouldn't really have a problem, but they sense danger, and they were always in a nice position defensively,
And they covered each other and they worked hard.
And it wasn't really until Benteke came on that they did really have any problems.
