It was easy for United.
It was all in front of them.
You speak to lads who were defenders.
If people are playing in front of you, it's very, very easy.
But also, it was a dogged performance, I think, that pleased probably the supporters as well.
It wasn't pretty.
They're stuck at it.
The fans stayed right behind them.
And I think, obviously, the goal right at the end was fantastic.
I've not really seen the atmosphere like this at United for a long time.
And we keep saying they have a long way back.
But I think it was a huge step today.
I just felt it in my bones this morning.
I thought, United really have to win this game of football.
And I felt it was more of a derby for United than City today.
And to me, that's a big insult to Man City.
Because whatever about league titles, when you're playing a derby game, it's a derby game.
And I felt united.
And I've given Man City huge praise over the last few years, which is not easy to do.
But I felt it meant more to United today than Man City.
