The receiver was in an offside position.
The TMO should have put his foot down.
And John Downing, forward passes are the major problem in rugby.
There'd be, on average, 10 a game that result in tries.
Forward pass is still a forward pass.
I'll deal with that one first.
John, there aren't 10 in a game.
Also, you can't be offside if you catch a legit...
But, you know, and I think it's a scourge in rugby league.
And I think that there is... Because rugby league, they don't even... It's just so embarrassing.
They don't even look at a forward pass anymore.
What I wonder whether or not, and we'll probably debate this over the next couple of weeks, I wonder whether both sports, rugby and league, are turning a blind eye to this.
And I don't know why they would.
Because the technology is there that you could actually...
You could laser chip these things.
You could get the spider cam to have some kind of technology going on.
You could grid the field like an NFL field with five-meter lines, which would make it so much easier.
That's probably the most practical way of stopping it and then getting the AR to actually put his flag up and actually police the 10-meter rule and the forward pass.
But because they don't even implement these most basic changes, I do have a conspiracy theory that I don't know why they don't, and perhaps they don't want to, and I don't know why that is.
Well, this is why the whole TMO thing got introduced, right?
