I thought Pascal Siakam was the difference, because he got the pace going about four and a half minutes in. Because the Knicks were going blow for blow to start this game. But then Pascal Siakam got out real quick to get one of those Indiana Pacers plays off a make, where quick little inbound to Halliburton.

He drops a 50-foot pass to Siakam, who's beyond the three-point line, just needs to take one dribble and he scores. So six seconds, he's got a bucket. He had three more baseball passes where he converted like late in the second there. Another one, no dribble passes, three quick passes. He scores. Pacers want to have some momentum going into half. Again, six seconds left in the second quarter.

He gets another one.

Und dann, als die Knicks zurückkommen, I thought we got a lot of ethical Siakam baskets. Give me the ball, I'll go to work in the mid range. Did it again. I thought there were key moments, like to start the second quarter with Halliburton on the bench. First basket, Siakam 3.

Third quarter, again, right out of the locker room, Banks home, another 3. More key stuff from Siakam. The third quarter when the Knicks were on an 8-0 run to try and push this game closer. Mr. Siakam puts that hand back for a steal on Mikel Bridges. That sparks a 9-0 run for the Pacers.

So he was just there to seal it and he sealed it late in the fourth quarter with an offensive rebound to really put this thing away as the Knicks were trying to do it again. I thought he was the guy in this game that did it in so many ways. Obviously so many other guys doing it, but I think Siakam was the guy just to make it all happen in that Indiana way.

It was close, yeah. Even if Stan Van Gundy said, you guys heard him, they were talking amongst each other. I'm not sure if that was an NBA in-arena feed thing, but he was talking to Reggie Miller. He goes, he Ja, genau. Ein 5-4-Vote für den MVP macht vollkommen Sinn.
