And at any rate, there was, while they were transferring him, or the car pulled in with Nash and an FBI agent and a couple of local detectives were with him, suddenly these other gentlemen appeared and opened fire. And they opened fire primarily with Thompson machine guns, submachine guns. Not the best item to use if you're trying to do precision work to free somebody in a car.
