Let's say we're coming out long corner, it's fast.
You know, I might get three pretty quick fights there, but at the same time, I'm either dead or I'm alive, and I'm not.
Yeah, let's say Mirage, you've come out top mid and you've spammed like, you know, a defensive short smoke or you've spammed the top mid smoke or whatever to see if they're closed and then you haven't reloaded and they've done like a collapse on middle through short con window and you only have 10 bullets left.
Then maybe...
My favorite was when I saw people discussing realism and I was like, guys, read the patch notes.
At no point was anything about realism a reference point for why they did this, right?
Let me find the blog post because I think that this is quite interesting because they are communicating, I think, right?
It's like talking to aliens, but they are communicating with this one here.
News, Counter-Strike 2, updates.
I actually should have this bookmarked.
Why don't I have this bookmarked?
There we go.
Is that from the blog post or from the patch notes?
That's from the patch notes.
Okay.
So this is what I think is interesting from the blog post, right?
this is what they say when you reload in cs2 the leftover ammo in your magazine is dumped back into an essentially endless reserve supply and so the decision to reload has never offered significant trade-offs in a safe position with enough time you might reload after firing a single bullet or half a mag or after firing down to empty and the rest of the round would be unaffected right so essentially here they're pointing out that before there wasn't any real consequences on when you decided to reload because it had no impact right on your reserve ammo
We think the decision to reload should have higher stakes.
All right.
Very clearly.
