Just over six weeks since he was named the NFL's AP Offensive Player of the Year for the 2025 season and three days later won Super Bowl 60, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jackson Smith Njigba has become the highest paid wide receiver in NFL history.

ESPN reports Smith Njigba agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $168.6 million.

At $42.15 million per season, this is the highest average annual salary for any receiver.

$120 million of this contract guaranteed.

Also a record for an NFL receiver.

Last season, his third in the NFL, all with Seattle.

Jackson Smith and Jigba made 119 catches for an NFL best, 1,793 yards with 10 touchdowns.
