But hospitality was so prevalent in the first century church that then John has to give a warning to this house church because they would take these folks in that were traveling through.

But what was happening was now we're having these false teachers begin showing up.

So they had to start giving you a little insight as to who to look for because some of these people, and they even came up with the rules on how long to keep them because they were like, if they want to stay too long or they start asking for money, not a good sign.

So there's that challenge to their hospitality that I was talking about.
