Mac, obviously, having a drug issue,
And it's funny, because he responded when Jace was talking about that night, that guy shares testimony.
And he famously says, when he talks about that, he said, one of the elders said, well, Max said, well, what do I do next?
And the guy's like, well, I'm not sure.
You're the first guy that's ever responded with this problem.
So he's like, you're our first guy that's ever said it.
So he wasn't doing the rehab.
But when he came out of that, he knew he wanted to share, but he wanted to be more in-depth.
And so he started a group called Overcomers Outreach and they met for about eight or 10 years and it grew and they helped people and especially transition off of drugs.
And then he went out to Saddleback in California and saw Celebrate Recovery and came back and said, you know, I want to start that here.
And so he started our first Celebrate Recovery 20 years ago, 21 now.
But now God has moved him away from here and he is over all drugs.
the teaching and training of celebrate recovery for the North American continent.
So about 35,000 churches.
So, you know, God built that platform for them to do what they're doing now, but we share that DNA from those early days of just being in a living room.
Right.
I mean, which is where you, but my point is you never know where God's going to take you.
We never knew there'd be a TV show that would give us the platform to do what we're doing either.
No, you don't, you, you never die.
I love that you said that about the great cloud, because Mac was the one that always tells about how he writes that in the margin of his Bible, people that have impacted him.
