He rescued you out of slavery, gave you a job to do to image me.

And what did you do?

You bowed down to idols.

You replaced me with idols, which it was so profound because he was like, I set you apart.

I made you holy.

I freed you.

And you can feel the passion in God speaking to Jeremiah.

Yeah.

Yeah, anything made.

Yeah, anything made by the hands of men.

And it was a really good sermon, but where I wanted to get to with this streams of living water, because he gets down to the end of chapter two and he says, you know what your problem is?

It's God speaking through Jeremiah.

He's like, you're cisterns that won't hold water.

You're broken cisterns.

cisterns.

And really, when you start thinking about this living water and us trying to come up with something to capture the rainwater that God provided, then it's broken.

It doesn't even work.

When you read this, it makes sense.

And then chapter three, and I'll get y'all's comments.

Then he says three times, return to me, return to me, return to me.
