With persuasive words, she led him astray.
She seduced him with her smooth talk.
And then all of a sudden, this story takes a turn for the worse.
It gets graphic.
In a violent way.
All at once he followed her like an ox going to the slaughter, like a deer stepping into a noose.
So here's an alternate word for that.
That's a buck in the rut right there.
