Whatever your innate talent is, you have found a lane for it, a platform for it.
you know, a place to apply it and doing such good for so many that listen to you.
I'm very happy for you that you are deciding to, you know, spend a little of that on yourself and reinvesting in, you know... And leave on your terms.
And that your tone and your quality and your honesty and your vulnerability was a viable format.
In answer to what I think your question is about the application of...
what you heretofore have been doing, which is basically freestyling, improvising.
You are coming first and then the words follow, right?
That's your writing for stand-up, your freestyling on the microphone, your podcast.
authenticity into something that is, by its own definition, pre-written, right?
Yeah, how do you find that level of Marc Maron in acting?
I will say that you are allowed, when you take on a character, to make that character simply just another part of who Marc Maron
is, you know, there are, there are goalposts, you're far right, far left of, of who Mark Maron is.
And then you just find whatever version that character is closest to you inside of those goalposts.
It's just the words are written beforehand and you got to find the version of you that fits those words.
And so you're still kind of, um, you're, you're still, uh, uh, exhibiting who you are, um, and, and should still be able to find some enjoyment
Can I, could I- You don't need to do that on the first one.
