But I think when he trusted himself to start working out and be consistent about it, I think that's kind of where it took off.
And, you know, obviously...
You know, playing in Chicago was a big stepping stone, obviously, going to North Dakota and then getting to North Dakota and having a good year there his first year.
And then, you know, he put on about 10 pounds between his first and second year.
And he worked out every single day, and he was very committed.
And, you know, as most people in the hockey world would say, no one really thought he'd make it out of camp last year.
And I just think his work ethic, his desire, his compete level has always been there.
It just kind of showed at the right time.
And, yeah, it's been a fun ride.
I obviously get emotional and very proud of him.
And, you know, for me that I played and, you know, had some success in the NHL and to watch your kid grow up, I mean, you always want your kids to do better than you in life.
And, I mean, he's proven it.
Well, I think the number one thing that I've seen is obviously the head coach.
I mean, I think he'd probably be one of the easiest coaches to play for.
You know, I've talked to him a few times this year, but just, I mean, obviously I've

But, you know, he built this culture around this organization.
The organization, first and foremost, is just a super class act.
And, you know, I think it starts at the top and then with Rod.
And he built this culture.
