They've apparently hired a couple of investment bankers to go and seek out some investors, and they will fail.
um well that's just and all and all the and all the big name guys are gonna try and you know get back to the pga tour now i i don't know um i mean they the pga tour did open that window yeah for them to return and guys like uh john rom and dechambeau said now we're gonna stay should have climbed into that window yes um so that'll be interesting to see what happens there but
You know, I'm thinking back to all the times we've talked about this, not because we're a golf show, but just because I thought, you know, this was a very interesting story.
And, you know, I do think there was a degree of, quote unquote, sport washing in this.
You know, the Saudi Arabians investing money into pro sports as a way to soften their image, right?
But I keep coming back to this notion that a lot of this was just like, like I'd almost call them like some Saudi bros that are like, Hey, we got access to like a lot of oil money.
Wouldn't it be cool to,
if we started a golf tour.
Like, we've got so much money.
It'll be amazing.
We'll get the best golfers and we'll put it on this tour and it will disrupt the golf industry.
And then, you know, someone...
eventually said, like, all right, that's enough.
You guys have spent $5 billion on this golf tour.
Nobody cares about this.
Everyone still just cares about the PGA Tour.
Like, you know, this is ridiculous.
Like, it's time to come home from your friend's house.
