Yeah.
Like Jackson Blake.
Well, there's one.
You know, there's a guy that's signed for, what was it, a $4 million cap hit for a while?
Eight years.
I don't know if we will, though, because I think teams are now going to have room, at least for the next few years, to just keep their guys.
I just hope.
And I think Drance makes a good point.
Like, you always want to look for what is scarce, right?
What's something that there's not enough of?
And it was cap space for a while in that, in large part, determined which teams had the power over transactions, right?
But now, I think for the next few years, until the market adjusts, the scarcity is going to be talent.
And I think you're going to have some teams, like Montreal, for example, which already has a bunch of good players locked up at very reasonable cap hits, is going to have the potential, at least, to put together an amazing team.
And that's why you're going to have... I think the teams that end up winning the Stanley Cup are going to be deeper than the ones that won it in the flat cap era.
There were probably some players playing in the flat cap era on teams that went far in the playoffs that were like... I don't know about this guy.
That's a really good point.
But you just couldn't add anymore.
Now, some teams...
use the LTIR system to get around that a little bit.
But then they put the clamps on that.
