Yeah, he needs to go to a team that knows what he is as a player.

He can't go to a team that's like, oh, you scored, you know, however many goals, 51 goals over the last two seasons, go score them here.

Because he needs to have the right role.

And the right role for him is often just where he's able to go to the front of the net, use his quick hands to either

tip pucks home or put them in in close.

He's very good at that.

I don't know if you're going to, you know, just because he's DeBrusque, I think a lot of people think, oh, he must be a power forward.

His dad was pretty tough.

He's like, eh.

Yeah, maybe some bad shooting luck too.

I mean, his shooting percentage at five on five was ridiculously low.

And, you know, it's not like he totally forgot how to shoot the puck.

Another guy I want to ask about is Nils Hoaglander.

You know, in a rising cap environment, would a team take a chance on Hoaglander?

Did you find it difficult to judge the performances of the Canucks young defenseman given the way the team played last season and given the way frankly it was coached?
