And it was just like royalty was coming into the school.

I mean, they were, you know, they had a huge power and clout in Waterford City.

No, no, I didn't because I was so young, I suppose, really.

I mean, you know, I wasn't even aware that he was one of, you know, I knew it was the Keneally's, but I didn't even, you know, he wasn't a politician or anything.

So, but...

I suppose I wouldn't have understood how deep, you know, the family connections were or anything like that and the power that was there, you know.

It was just a neighborhood football match, friendly match every Sunday morning, you know.

No, he, that's where I met him.

He himself was a basketball coach.

I never played basketball.

And himself and Brendan Keneally, actually, they set up a basketball club.
