Duke only had 24 points in the paint in this game.
I didn't have the time or the energy to go back and check.
The last time Duke only had 24 points in the paint in a game, but I bet it was a long damn time ago.
Duke's been in the 30s, upper 30s, and mid 40s very consistently in points in the paint lately.
Only 24 was a little bit of an aberration.
And again, that's partially because we went back to shooting more three-pointers, which is, again, not a terrible thing, but it's just something to note and something that I think,
I think the team wants to be a little more careful in their shot selection.
The first open three isn't always the best shot for a Duke Blue Devil team that's so efficient on the inside.
That's exactly our season average.
Yeah, that's exactly where we are.
So the next thing I had in the bad, there were, especially in the first half, there were some really, really messy turnovers and, and coming on the, we had the same thing happen against Pitt.
It's like Duke didn't have a ton of turnovers in this game.
Like, you know, my 12 threshold, we were well under that.
But some of the turnovers were just like, God, what happened there?
And then to go alongside that, Duke had two rebounding situations where there were no Clemson guys and there were like two or three Duke guys.
And we fumbled the ball out of bounds because we were fighting with each other for the rebound.
Man, let me tell you.
My friend that I sit with at Duke games, who's a member of Duke legacy, when that happens, he loses his ever-loving mind.
When two Duke guys knock the ball out of bounds and there's no one from the opposing team around, it's not a pretty picture when you're at a game with this friend of mine.
It's very funny.
