I would have put in Nick instead of Pat.

I would have gone with Caleb, Caden, Isaiah, Nick, and Cameron as my five.

if I'm John Shire, and I get that maybe that's not the lineup you want out there if there's a rebound of a free throw miss.

But once the free throw goes through, I think you can call timeout there or you can have guys at the scores table to come in because, honestly, you're not catching UConn off guard.

It's one thing if you are thinking, oh, we want to be able to get the ball inbounds quickly before they can set up their defense.

Off a free throw, their defense is already set.

UConn already knew what they were going to do.

And Duke had plenty of timeouts.

So I think John, again, either could have had guys at the scorer table or could have called a timeout.

And by the way, a timeout would have been, you would have been able to say, okay, here's exactly what it is we want to do.

Here's what we want to get the ball.

I don't know why, but we didn't even try to get the ball to Isaiah.

I mean, we're figuring, you know, UConn's going to try to foul.
