If you told me that Darren Harris was going to play 12 minutes in a game where it was basically like a three or four point game the entire contest for an ACC title game, I would have been like, okay, so who's in big foul trouble?

Well, no.

No one was in big foul trouble.

It was that Darren earned those minutes.

Donald, with 4.57 left in the game, there was a timeout.

The horn blew and subs came in the game for Duke.

Less than five minutes left in a tie ball game for the ACC title.

The guy who stood up from next to the scorers table and came in the game was Darren Harris.

John Shire inserted Darren Harris in the game with less than five minutes left in a tie ball game.

I almost fell out of my chair.

I was shocked and stunned that Shire was like, OK, crunch time, winning time.

Darren, get in the game.

That's so huge for Darren and huge for this team.

And then the other thing I want to point out is with 12-15 left, Darren Harris made the most important play of his Duke career thus far.

That was, he leaked out.

Cam Boozer found him on that outlet pass and Darren went in and had that, you know, layup where he was heavily contested.

He got fouled and he made it.

Duke was down one at that moment.

After that play, Duke is up two because he makes the three-point play.
