And he's like, what are you doing?
What's going on?
He says, yeah, man, I don't think we're going to be able to get a buyer for the manuscript.
We can still do the documentary but not get a feature film made.
Or there was that or a series.
Series were big back then.
And he's like, why do you think that?
And he says, well, because it turns out Jonah Hill signed on and they're greenlighting the project.
And he said, well, they hadn't done it yet, but they were going to, is what he said.
He said, well, how do you know this?
Oh, he said, Shimmy, my partner Shimmy, is the son of the president of Warner Brothers.
And Ross says, what?
What?
He goes, yeah.
He said, I didn't know that.
