So then I sit down with Devereaux.

And we end up arguing back and forth, back and forth.

And what I love about Devereaux is that he's one of those guys that always thinks he's the smartest guy in the room.

You know what I mean?

And he's sitting there telling me, he's like, bro, let's just settle this, bro.

First, he's telling me to fire my lawyers, which is funny because he was, during the negotiation, he was coming back and the negotiator was saying, was saying, listen, Deverelli wants to know if he can just talk to you by himself.

Francis is saying, he's going to try and get you to fire us.

So that you don't have to give us whatever, 30, 40%.

He's going to try and get you to fire us and say we can make a deal outside and he's good for it.

And then once you fired us, he's not going to pay you.

And I was like, fuck, that's something he'd do too.

Like it's so over the top sleazy that it's something he would do.
