So let's say he's with State Farm.
So he gets the documents.
He calls and makes a claim.
But when he makes the claim, because we now know about the deductible, he says it's an aftermarket stereo product.
And it was extremely expensive.
It was like $7,000 or $8,000 or something.
We had a friend that worked at Sound Advice.
I don't even think it's there anymore.
We go to him and we explain the situation to him and he writes up receipts that are backdated like two years or a year or something for like a $9,000 stereo or something.
I don't know how much, but whatever.
He then submits those less the $1,000.
They give him a check for like $8,000 or $6,000 or something.
It was a lot because I think back then like you could get like a Kawasaki Ninja for like $3,500 or something.
So he ends up buying like โ spends like $3,000, $4,000 and buys a Kawasaki Ninja $600.
And he has a couple grand โ or has some money left over.
Never gave me anything for being the brainchild behind this whole thing.
But I remember his dad was furious about the motorcycle.
Wouldn't let him park it there.
He's furious.
